We got a chance to chillax at SONY studios in midtown Manhattan last night, for a little preview of DJ Khaled’s new album entitled We The Best. And he does have some of the best on his album, including Paul Wall, T.I, Akon, Trick Daddy, Jim Jones, The Game, Ja Rule, Ludacris, Rick Ross, Jeezy, Lil’ Wayne, Baby, Jadakiss, Styles P, Dre, Cassidy, Bun B, Tony Sunshine, Juelz Santana, and Young Dro. PHEW!!!!!!!! ‘Brown Paper Bag’ is the next joint to look out for. Album is out June 12th.
As an added bonus, Lil Mama happened to have been recording in the studio room next door to Khaled’s, so he invited her to join us and hang out. She played a few of her tracks, proving that her ish goes a lot deeper than ‘Lipgloss.’ One of the highlights we heard is a club banger called ‘Make It Hot’. This young’n is bringing something new, fresh and real to the game. Khaled confessed to being a fan himself!
