[T.I. with Julie Greenwald]
T.I. rolled up through MTV’s Sucker Free space last night with big label executives Julie Greenwald, President of Atlantic Records and Kevin Liles, Executive Vice President of Warner Music Group, to play a few tracks off his new album entitled “Alter Egos”, due out July 3.
He talked about exploring two very different musical sides of his personality on the album. “Goodbye My Dear” with Ciara illustrates the smoothed out/R&B friendly vibe that he brought on the last album with “Why Ya Wanna”. “What It Is” shows the “TIP” side, or more “street” side. Neither side fails to impress. T.I. has some real “Big Ish Poppin,” which is the first single kicking off the new record.
Besides starring alongside Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe in the upcoming American Gangster he’ll also be headlining the more grown and sexy “Scream Tour” this summer. And on the socially conscious TIP [pun intended], T.I. says that there’s “too much fabrication coming up today, [with] rappers coercing kids to do things that they ain’t even done themselves…the opposite of outstanding behavior.” Always great to hear celebs keeping it positive!

I love T.i., and everything he does is amazing. Everything he touches turns to gold.
I feel like no matter what happened or didn’t happen, guilty or not, T.I. WILL come out on top, even if he does do time.
If yall love T.I., f****n love him, if you hate him, f**k you. The details of what is going on look shady right now, but everything will come to the light, soon enough. Guilty or not, T.I. WILL prevail!, and f**k all yall tryin to set that man up.
