Ok, so I’m a big Common fan. I did a story on him for XXL a few years back when his lovely album, Be came out. I love his new song “The People” and the simplicity of the “The Game” video. However, I have a bone to pick with my Windy City buddy. If Common found “the new Preemo”, [question #1, why does there need to be a "new" Preemo? I'm perfectly happy with the real thing.], then [question #2] why does this new Preemo a/k/a Kanye, completely rip off Premier on “The Game?” And then why did they have Premier add scratches? It’s just weird. And Common mentions yoga on each record. He must be hanging with Russ.
