People [Hi Eskay] can hate on him all they want, but for some reason it’s breaking news if 50 Cent even sneezes these days. Most people’s albums get pushed back over and over, and this time Curtis is only moving a week. The release date is now 9/11/07, kind of a somber day to come out with a gangsta hip pop album, if you ask me. Of course, we know he’s been recording new tracks, but as someone who used to work at a label, a week makes really no difference because the album is going to have to be completely finished long before that. There’s gota to be a promotional angle to it. I’m wondering if it’s so he can perform at the MTV VMAs on 9/9/07 and yell ‘Curtis’ over and over instead of Vitamin Water.
Should also be interesting, because Ja Rule is supposedly coming out September 25, and some people are feeling this new song he has with Lil Weezy. You can see some outtakes from the video shoot at Nah Right.
