Yesterday, Kanye West posted the flyer for his upcoming Glow In The Dark tour on his blog, confirming the line-up for the summer concert series- N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco, along with Rihanna. The dates for the tour haven’t been announced yet.

N.E.R.D. and Lupe make sense to me. That’s Kanye’s little crew outside of his crew. But Rihanna?

Snoop talks white girls, sports

Our favorite guest, the one and only Snoog Dogg, dropped by recently and met up with our intrepid and irreverent reporter, Murda-Suicide. Somehow they got on the topic of white girls and their love for Snoop and his take on the dominance of New England sports teams. Here’s some randomness for a Tuesday.

For whatever reason, Killer Mike has just never blown the way he should (*pause*). After 2003’s Monster, he went back in the studio to record Ghetto Extraordinary, but Sony Records kept pushing the album back. So he split Sony for Big Boi’s Purple Ribbon label, and the album got lost in the sauce. He’d eventually beef with Big Boi, and independently release the double disc I Pledge Allegiance To The Grind in 2006. But finally, just weeks ago, Ghetto Extraordinary leaked via hiphopdx.com. You can grab it here, and then read Tom Breihan of The Village Voice’s review.

Gnarls Barkley- “Run”

This is from the group’s new album, The Odd Couple, which according to the group’s website, is dropping in April.

I like the song. Something different, like their first album. A little variation doesn’t hurt. I can’t front, I feel like I’ve been hearing the same 808 drum pattern on the radio for the past five years now.

Sucker Free Q&A- Sean Kingston

Sean Kingston had a big year in ‘07. By summer time, just months after signing with renowned producer Jonathan “JR” Rotem’s Beluga Heights record label in late ‘06, the Jamaican reggae/rap crooner’s hit single “Beautiful Girls” was a staple of radio station playlists nationwide. His follow-ups, “Me Love” and “Take You There,” helped push his self-titled debut album to more than four hundred thousand records sold, while millions of fans downloaded his songs as ringtones. Recently, Sean wrapped up performing on Chris Brown’s Exclusive Holiday Tour. Now he’s gearing up to release the video for his fourth official single, “There’s Nothin,” featuring Paula Deanda, Juelz Santana and Elan from The D.E.Y.. Sucker Free Blog caught up with Sean in New York last week.
