According to Kiro7 News, a fight broke out early this morning (1:30am) during a Dead Prez concert at Evergreen State College, in Olympia, Washington. A campus police officer tried to make an arrest but while doing so became surrounded by people at the concert. The campus po po had trouble getting the arrested man out of the venue, and then Dead Prez started performing “Fu*k The Police” (a popular RBG mixtape cut), and all hell broke loose.

“Washington State Patrol Trooper Brandy Kessler said the crowd surrounded the officer’s car, demanding for the arrested man to be released. The officer called for backup. Thurston County deputies responded and removed the campus officer from her car and released the arrested man. When a deputy’s car failed to start, the crowd overturned it, breaking out windows and ripping the car apart. Officers were pelted with rocks during the melee. Officials said a deputy’s laptop computer and a radar gun were stolen.”
