V.I.C. Wants You To Wait Before Your Write Him Off As Just Another Dance Rapper

To be fair, it’d be very easy to throw V.I.C. in with the rest of the dance rappers that have come out in the past few years. There are enough to fill up a VH1 “Where Are They Now?” special at this point. V.I.C. argues though, that he’s anything but one of those types of artists. He says he has more to him than just dance songs. He says:

“You can’t define one man by one song. ‘Get Silly’ is just the silly part of me… I do like to dance and I like to party, but that’s where the hood took it. My intent for the song, I seen a lot of colors… V.I.C. is a very colorful guy… I was talking about jewelry. You might see some jewelry that you like and you call it silly. That was the whole intent. I’m flashy like that, so ‘Get Silly’ really represents me, but it don’t define me. Cause I’m a real artist, for real…. please believe it, I’m very seasoned. I just didn’t pop up, I just got discovered.”
