The Roots performed with Jay-Z when he appeared on MTV Unpluged. The Roots are from Philly. Philadelphia is one of the Top 10 cities that personify the basketball and hip-hop culture fusion of the past 24 years that is now known as The “Dunkadelic-Era” In America, 1984-Present. The era will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary during the year 2009.
