Rumored first single from Joe’s upcoming album, Padded Room. Supposedly his first attempt at reconnecting with the mainstream audience. Got a nice Jersey-house vibe to it, though I gotta admit, I think it sounds a lot like “Fire.” You be the judge.

******DOWNLOAD****** Lloyd ft. Lil Wayne- “Girls All Around The World”
This gets a pass because of the Eric B and Rakim “Paid In Full” flip. Plus I think Wayne and Lloyd are the only of these best of both worlds type collabos that actually makes sense on a musical level.

****DOWNLOAD***** Big Boi ft. Andre 3000 and Raekwon The Chef- “Royal Flush”
This is the first single from Big Boi’s upcoming solo album, Sir Luscious Left Foot. It’s pretty damn impressive, at least for the standards Outkast set for themselves with that Idlewild soundtrack.

When it first came on, I said to myself, wow this has to be the worst thing I’ve heard in god knows how long. Then it got better, right when Fergie started rapping. I don’t care who wrote her lyrics, Fergie’s the best female rapper out right now. There I said it. Shower me with hate!!!! The only problem with this joint is that Nelly’s on it. Doesn’t he get it already, Flo Rida’s replaced his disposable a**. Get out of hurrrr! Oh yeah, it’s produced by Polow Da Don, if anyone cares about that sort of thing.

I’m just asking. Because even though I think Busta got all gangta rappa’d out for no reason after he got down with Aftermath (it’s all that G-Unit influence), I can’t front, his last album, The Big Bang, was pretty damn dope. I’ve never considered Bussa Bus a great lyricist, but he definitely stepped it up on every level last go round. Plus the beats were insane. Yet nobody bought the album (not that people would like, ya’know, buy an album or anything these days) and Busta’s legal troubles definitely didn’t help make his public persona appear all that cheery and energetic anymore.
So now he’s got this new joint called “Lights, Cameras, Action,” which is quite impressive. Got a nice, soulful and smooth feel to it. I don’t know if it’s just a mixtape joint or is a single, you know how the internets is with music. Regardless, the track is crazy and you should all check it out.
It’s produced by the legendary Teddy Riley, who recently put in a slew of work on Snoop’s new album, Ego Trippin’, while looking to recover from some real financial woes.
